A New Englander born and bred, Ryan transplanted to the West Coast following his time serving as a United States Marine. He made his way to Las Vegas where he discovered his passion for food, restaurants and making the guest experience memorable. In 2015, Ryan and his family had the opportunity to move to Northern Nevada to live the “Rugged, Relaxed, Reachable” life of the Carson Valley. With over 15 years of restaurant management experience, his goal is to make your dining adventure memorable by letting his passion for local, farm to table cuisine shine while giving the best customer service to our guests.
Brandon Barksdale Chef
Brandon grew up with his family in San Luis Obisbo, CA until moving out to Chico State University where after a few years he decided to follow his passion and start Culinary School at the Art Institute in Orange County. After school he moved around the gastro pub scene in the OC, which eventually landed him in Vail Colorado working in fine dining under some incredibly skilled chef’s. Being a family man he eventually ended up in Nevada where he was close to family and found work at Liberty Food and Wine Exchange (where we shamelessly stole him from, thanks Liberty). Brandon is drawn to restaurants by the ever changing puzzle of creating great food and hospitality. His favorite dish at the Union is the Sausage Platter, “Quality homemade sausage and mustard on a plate!”
Allisha Locicero Manager
Allisha comes from a military family that moved around frequently growing up. She eventually ended up in Carson City with her husband and son, being drawn in by the big open spaces and beauty of the area. She has been working in the restaurant industry since high school and brings a wealth of experience to The Union team. She recommends the pepperoni pizza if you stop by as it is a great representation of the classic pie!
